Women’s Health+ unveiled a four-week strength-training series called Build Burn with the goal of helping participants gain muscle, lose fat and improve functional movement.
Three free-weight tracks
The series offers three separate tracks—Barbell Burn, Kettlebell Burn and Dumbbell Burn. Each track uses its specific equipment to deliver workouts that aim to improve definition, boost metabolic rate and increase lifting confidence.
Program designers explain that the workouts follow evidence-based protocols, meaning the rep schemes and load progressions are built on recent strength-training research. Participants follow a four-week schedule that gradually raises intensity while preserving technique, so the plan remains challenging yet safe.
Personalized and flexible
Unlike generic “New-Year” challenges, Build Burn lets users select the track that matches their current skill level and personal preferences. A beginner who feels comfortable with dumbbells can start there, while a seasoned lifter may opt for the barbell routine.
Members are not locked into a single modality. After completing one four-week block, they can switch to another track or run the programs back-to-back, which the creators claim helps maintain motivation and develop overall versatility.

What the subscription includes
Signing up for a Women’s Health+ premium membership provides access to all three Build Burn PDFs, which can be downloaded to phones or tablets for gym use. The files are formatted for easy viewing on any screen, allowing participants to follow the plan without printing.
Two instructional videos address common form errors, and two guided workout videos supply real-time coaching for those with limited time. The visual content demonstrates proper technique and offers cues that help users stay on track.
Members also receive ongoing support from three certified strength coaches, each specializing in a different free-weight discipline. The coaches answer questions through the platform’s messaging system and offer technique tweaks as needed.
Beyond the core program, the premium tier adds a year’s worth of nutrition guides, targeted workout plans and a library of more than 450 streaming sessions. Additional challenges, such as a glute-focused regimen and an advanced pull-up plan, are available to keep participants engaged.
Subscribers gain unlimited access to the Women’s Health+ website, a one-year print magazine subscription and a high-protein meal-prep manual. Visual assets, including photographs and styling credits, round out the digital experience and give the program a polished look.
