Leisure travel is travel during which the primary motivation is to take a trip from everyday life. Leisure travel is usually characterised by staying in nice motels or resorts, relaxing on seashores or in a room, or occurring guided excursions and experiencing native vacationer sights. Most meals are eaten out when touring for pleasure, and often costlier modes of transportation, such as taxis, are used to get round.
